Choose from one of 7 cozy glamping yurts, the renovated Atwell Cabin, or 6 scenic campsites.

 Our Yurts, Cabin and campsites are bordered by forest, beautifully landscaped gardens and all are situated just a stone’s throw away from the Cheakamus River. 

 End your day with a BBQ on the large deck, relax by the riverbank fire pit,explore the Dike trail, or simply enjoy the majestic Tantalus Mountain Range views. Whichever you choose, it’s a wonderful way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and create lasting memories in the great outdoors.

15 Ft Glamping Yurts

Each yurt includes fresh linens, a small table and chairs, outdoor seating on a spacious private deck overlooking the river, and a BBQ for cooking. Co-ed Washroom facilities located in the solar-powered Cheekye Bathhouse, which includes toilets, showers, sinks, and a common outside wash station for washing dishes.
Pets are welcome with a one-time $55 pet fee (per pet). Dogs must be kept on a leash, supervised, and cleaned up after at all times on the ranch grounds.
Enjoy stunning mountain and river views and stargaze through the clear dome of the yurt, falling asleep to the peaceful sound of the river.

Camp With Us

Cheekye Ranch’s campground is a small, family-friendly retreat, ideal for reconnecting with nature. While the sites do not include power or water/septic hookups, we provide clean and well-maintained porta potties for your convenience. Designed for self-check-in, our campsites are suitable for small RVs and/or tent camping. Each site features stunning views and includes a picnic table and fire pit.

Hidden Hollows

Group Campsite & Event Space

Tucked away in a private wooded area, Hidden Hollows is the perfect group site, whether you and extended family want to camp, organize a corporate retreat, or perhaps looking to elope or maybe host a small music event, the Hollows can accommodate up 50 people with space for 8-10 large tents. A true unique wilderness experience.

    • Private parking right in front of the site, with space for 4-5 cars.

Important Safety Notice

As a working ranch with animals free roaming the property, all guests must be guided for safety when entering working areas. There is no lifeguard on duty and guests entering the river are at your own Risk.

Questions & Answers

Yurt, Cabin and Camping Accommodations

  • Please follow the signs upon entering the property to your accommodation.  These are self-check-in accommodations. Check-in time is 3:00 pm, and check-out time is 11:00 am.

    • Off-grid 15 ft Glamping Yurts: $185 per night (2-night minimum).

    • Solar-powered 24 ft Yurts/Cabin: Starting at $395 per night (2-night minimum).

  • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

  • We offer limited water for guests staying in our yurt and cabin accommodations, but there is no water available at the campsites. We recommend bringing your own drinking water for the duration of your stay.

    • 15 ft yurts: You will have access to Cheekye Bathhouse, offering toilets and showers, cleaned and serviced regularly.

    • 24 ft yurts and Cabin: Private bathroom and showers in each accommodation.

    • Septic system: Cheekye Ranch is on a septic system, including the 24ft Yurts and washroom building. Antibacterial soaps and harsh chemicals destroy the health and functionality of the system. Please help protect the septic system and the water quality by using only biodegradable soaps during your stay

    • Potable water : Our clean, potable water is trucked in from the Lower Mainland. We ask for your help in preserving this valuable resource by using it thoughtfully during your stay.

    • Solar Power : Enjoy your stay with solar-powered electricity, providing an eco-friendly and reliable energy source throughout the ranch.

    Please note, there is no Wi-Fi on the property as we encourage you to unplug and connect with nature.

  • Pets are welcome in our yurts. A $55 one-time pet fee (per pet) applies for indoor stays, which covers additional cleaning measures. Pets must be leashed, well-behaved, and all pet waste should be cleaned up regularly.

  • As a working Ranch with some of our Equines roaming freely on the property, DO NOT approach/feed or harass. Tours of the Facility can be arranged by appointment.

  • Trail rides are not available at the Ranch.

  • We provide garbage removal services. Please use the designated garbage facilities to protect wildlife and animals.

  • As a working ranch with children and loose animals, all guests must drive at a speed of 5 km/h on the designated roads indicated on the Map. Horse facility and industrial/Ranch areas are off limits to vehicle access to ensure safety to the animals. 

  • We are located just a 15-minute drive from town, with gas stations and grocery stores. There is no convenience shop on the property. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood or purchase it directly from us.

  • Our 24 ft yurts and Atwell Cabin are fully equipped with linens, basic kitchen utensils and glassware, coffee maker, a small fridge to store perishables and drinks and outdoor BBQ for cooking. 

    For 15 ft yurts, outdoor BBQ with basic cooking utensils for cooking. We recommend bringing your own kitchenware, towels and a cooler as these are not provided.

  • For cancellations made more than 7 days in advance, we offer a full refund minus a $55 booking fee.
