Immerse yourself in nature with a wilderness getaway in one of the glamping yurts or the newly renovated Atwell Cabin here at Cheekye Ranch. Tucked into the forest, our yurts and Cabin, bordered by lush forest and beautifully landscaped gardens are situated just a stone’s throw away from the Cheakamus River.

To enhance your nature getaway you can schedule a tour of Second Chance Cheekye Ranch where you will meet the rescue horses, donkeys and pigs that live here. Ranch tours are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays, book now: Ranch Tour (peek.com)

To crown your glamping experience, you will find designated fire pits on the riverbank and as dusk arrives on the ranch you can settle in beside a crackling fire to watch the sunset over the stunning mountains of the Tantalus range or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the dyke and hunker down on the river with a good book.

 
 

 
 

Alpha and Omega - 24ft Yurts

Both Alpha and Omega are 24 ft and can both accommodate up to 6 guests. Both Yurts have a queen size bed, a sleeping loft with two twin beds and a hide-a-bed. Inside, glamping guests will experience a cozy, cabin in the woods feel as each of these yurts contain a bedroom, living room area, kitchen, BBQ on the deck for cooking and a full bathroom.

These yurts have running water and solar powered electricity.

Your dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash, cleaned up after and supervised at all times while on the ranch grounds. For pets joining your stay with us, a one time charge of $55 per pet is required.

15 ft Yurts

Little Alpha and Little Omega

These two yurts can each accommodate a family of three, furnished with a double bunk bed with a twin on top.

Tantalus can accommodate up to two guests, furnished with a king sized bed and a large deck with wheelchair access.

Serratus can accommodate three guests with a twin bunk and a double.

Niobe includes a queen bed suitable for a couple.

All yurts come with fresh linens, small table and chairs inside, outdoor seating and a BBQ for cooking.

Enjoy the spectacular mountain and river views. Admire the inviting night sky through the clear crown of the yurt before drifting off to the sound of the river for a relaxing night of rest.

There is no power in the 15ft yurts, so bring a flash light!

A jug of drinking water with a hand pump is supplied on each deck.

The restroom facilities for these five yurts is a shared porta potty with a common area wash station.

Atwell Cabin

Newly renovated Cabin can accommodate up to 2 guests and a child. It has a queen size bed, and a single hide-a-bed. Inside, guests will experience a cozy cabin with a large private yard. It contains a bedroom, living room area, full kitchen with a stove, a bathroom with shower and BBQ on the deck .

Like our 24 ft yurts the Atwell Cabin has running water and solar powered electricity.

Your dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash outside the fenced area, cleaned up after and supervised at all times while on the ranch grounds. For pets joining your stay with us, a one time charge of $55 per pet is required.

Our Solar Powered Cabin is $350 per night, minimum 2-night stay

 
 
 


Q&A- YURT ACCOMMODATION

Location: All of our Yurts are located along the riverside. Atwell Cabin is a 2 min walk away. These are self-check, check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.

Pricing: Off-grid 15 ft Glamping Yurts $165 a night, 2 night minimum / Solar Powered 24 ft Yurts/Cabin start at $350 a night, 2 night minimum

Noise: Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.

Drinking Water: The property offers limited water for guests staying in our yurt accommodations. We always encourage guests to bring drinking water with them.

Services: For our 15ft yurts we offer clean and regularly serviced shared portable toilets. Our larger 24ft yurts/Cabin include private washrooms and showers within each accommodation facility. Please be aware that there is no WIFI available on the property, as we encourage you to connect with nature.

Pets: Pets are welcome on the property and in our yurts. There is a $55 pet fee per pet staying indoors in a yurt with guests. This fee goes towards additional cleaning measures. All pets must be leashed and well behaved. All pet waste needs to be picked up regularly.

Horses: We do have limited availability for horse boarding on the ranch. Please reach out to us directly for availability.

Trail Rides: We are currently not offering trail rides at the ranch this season.

Garbage: We offer garbage removal. Guests must use designated garbage facilities provided by the ranch to protect animals and wildlife.

Driving: All cars on the property must drive 5 km/hour while driving on the property at all times.

Facilities: We are located a 10-minute drive to town, offering gas stations and grocery stores. We do not have a convenience shop on the property. You are welcome to bring firewood with you or purchase firewood directly from us on the property.

What’s Included: Our 24ft Yurts and Cabin, have basic kitchen utensils and towels included. If you are staying in our 15ft Yurts, we recommend bringing these items with you as they are not provided.

Return Policy - For all yurt booking cancellations, with 7 plus advance days notice we offer a full-return less a small $55 booking fee.
