CAMPING
Located along the Cheakamus River, our Ranch is just 10-15 minutes from downtown Squamish and just over an hour from Vancouver. The campground is a small, family-friendly spot nestled in the heart of Cheekye Ranch, which is home to Second Chance Cheekye Ranch (SCCR), a non-profit horse rescue organization. While our campsites do not have power or water, clean, well-maintained porta potties are available for guests' use. Our self-check-in campsites are suitable for small RV’s or tent camping, they offer beautiful river views and a picnic table for your enjoyment. With numerous lakes within a short drive, nearby hiking and biking trails, and all the other great things Squamish has to offer, our quiet ranch campsite is the perfect place to unwind after an adventurous day.
Cheekye Ranch is a working ranch with loose animals, due to safety and liability, all guests on property must be guided. Ranch tours are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays, book now: Ranch Tour (peek.com). In addition to campsites, Cheekye Ranch offers Yurts, Weddings, Events and glamping opportunities.
our sites
We have three stunning camping sites available. Site Two is a single site and available at $75 per night, minimum two-night booking. Site 5 and Site 6 are both double sites and can host up to 8 people and 2 cars or a large RV, these sites are $95 per night, minimum two-night booking. Larger group camping can be accommodated, subject to availability.
SITE FIVE - Set back and nestled in a wooded area this is the most private of our sites. This is a double site and can host two families and two cars or one larger RV. Enjoy some peace and quiet in this ranch paradise just a few steps from the river.
SITE TWO - This site is tucked away and elevated, making it perfect for trailer access. Kick back and relax after a day of outdoor activities listen to the river and settle in for the night. This site is neighbouring to our 24ft Yurts, which is perfect for group stays.
SITE SIX - This open, sunny site is just steps from the river. Site six is a double site and can host two families and two cars or one larger RV. Boasting of ample space and unobstructed views of the mountains and river you’re sure to have a relaxing getaway.
Q & A - CAMPING & RV
Location: All campsites are located along the riverside. Site 5 and Site 6 are neighbouring sites.
Noise: Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am
Trail Rides: We are not offering Trail Rides at the ranch at the moment.
Drinking Water: The property has limited water available for guests. Guest’s camping are asked to bring their own supply of drinking water with them.
Services: We offer clean and regularly serviced portable toilets for all guests camping on the property. We do not have any hook-ups available for RVing on the property.
Pets: Pets are welcome on the property; they must be leashed and well behaved. All pet waste must be picked up regularly.
Garbage: We offer garbage removal. Guests must use designated garbage facilities to protect animals and wildlife.
Driving: All cars on the property must drive 5 km/hour while driving on the property at all times.
Facilities: We are located a 10-minute drive to town, offering gas stations and grocery stores. We do not have a convenience shop on the property.
